Our terms and conditions are here to help you. We want you to feel comfortable with the service that we offer.
A deposit is required at the time of the booking; this can be paid by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card. Once this deposit has been received your wedding date, price and car will be secured.
The client is responsible for ensuring all information provided is correct and relevant with regards to addresses, dates, times, locations etc. Failure to provide details may result in additional charges, i.e. failure to indicate any additional stops on the day of hire could be chargeable.
The remaining balance must be paid in full, one month prior to the date of your wedding. We will contact you to remind you that your outstanding balance is due. Please note if the remaining balance is not paid upon request then the date will become available to other customers. A delay might also mean that the car you required may be reallocated to another client.
Minor changes to bookings such as timings or ribbon/flower requirements will not incur extra charges. Significant changes to a booking such as dates, venues, pick up points, additional time (before, during or after the service) or additional passengers may mean that the cost of the hire has to be recalculated and charged as extra where deemed necessary with no exceptions.
A cancellation of a booking needs to be received in writing (not by telephone). If the cancellation notice is received by us (David Andrews Wedding Cars) with more than 30 days notice, then the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee and any balance paid returned to the client. If the cancellation is received by us with less than 30 days from the booking date, regardless of any outstanding balance, then a fee equating to 50% of the total booking cost will be charged. Any alterations made to the booking on the day of the service or a request for additional time may incur an extra charge or may not be honoured if it conflicts with another booking.
We have the right to refuse entry into any vehicle under our control to any person who is, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances. In such circumstances, a refund to the client will not be offered.
Our chauffeur will check the vehicle for passengers’ belongings left in the vehicle after the ceremony/event. We cannot however be held responsible for any items broken during the journey or left in the vehicle after the ceremony. It is the passengers’ responsibility to ensure all belongings have been collected at the end of the journey.
The client will be informed of any delay on our part arising from either a vehicle breakdown or delays beyond our control and in the unlikely but possible event of a mechanical failure on your chosen car, David Andrews Wedding Cars reserve the right to substitute the car with another vehicle, of a similar standard, but which may differ from the type/colour of vehicle reserved. If the replacement vehicle does not meet the clients’ requirements then they have the option to withdraw from this agreement and will have the right to a full refund of any monies paid to David Andrews Wedding Cars.
Whilst every effort is taken in finding the best routes for your journey circumstances beyond our control may arise. Road works, local events, rural activities, road closures, accidents and even the weather can effect journey times. Any delays en-route to any location is beyond our control and is accepted as unforeseen circumstances and this is accepted by the client at the time of making their booking. No liability or costs can be accepted by us the supplier for any additional costs incurred by the client arising from any of the above.
Our cars are cleaned to the highest standard and will be checked on arrival. However, the company can accept no liability, nor responsibility for clothing becoming dirty or damaged. This is particularly relevant during times of inclement weather.
Our terms and conditions are in place for both our clients and David Andrews Wedding Cars protection. We reserve the right to amend any of these conditions at any time. Should such changes be made, then clients, whom have made bookings in advance, will be notified of any such changes to the T&C’s.
